A Time Machine for Minimalists
A.P.C. joins forces with Casio to create a sleek version of the iconic A1000 watch. Combining A.P.C.’s deliberately minimalist aesthetic with Casio’s technological prowess and retro appeal, the A1000 evokes a vintage 1970s feel. It features a slim profile, octagonal case, central LCD display, and a streamlined dial that makes the time easy to read at a glance. In this exclusive edition, A.P.C. and Casio offer two versions: one in silver and one in gold. Both finishes play with contrasting textures, featuring a mirrored dial and an adjustable matte steel bracelet. True to its minimalist vision, the mode indicators are moved to the case back, alongside A.P.C.'s signature guitar-dagger logo—a subtle nod to its creative heritage. At its core, this collaboration honors timelessness, a shared value of both brands. Casio, a pioneer in digital watches, creates designs that endure for decades. A.P.C. champions refined, lasting style that transcends trends. The Casio A1000, reimagined by A.P.C., strikes the perfect balance between technology and nostalgia.
A.P.C. Quilts Round 26: The Butterfly Effect
A.P.C. Quilts Round 26: The Butterfly Effect
The inspiration for A.P.C.'s Jessica Ogden Quilts Round 26 comes from the Ogden family's artistic legacy. "In 1969, my mother, Annabella Ogden, went to Jamaica to raise funds for Operation Friendship, a school and training center for disadvantaged children in Kingston," says Jessica. "She created greeting cards featuring drawings by local children and artists, along with textile art from my grandmother, Joan Ogden, a skilled batik artist. Joan, or 'Grandma' to me, did a series on butterflies, which became the starting point for Round 26." Round 26, divided into seven color groups, reflects the vibrant diversity of butterfly wings and the artistic influences Jessica grew up with. Jean Touitou added a psychedelic touch, inspired by the album cover of the band Iron Butterfly. Each quilt is named after a butterfly, with the idea guiding the design process but never literally portrayed, Jean explained. Photographed by Alfredo Piola.
