A.P.C. Butler program

Since 2008, A.P.C. clients all over the world have been able to return their broken-in jeans to an A.P.C. store and exchange them for a new pair at half-price. The used jeans are marked with the initials of their former owner, washed, mended if necessary, ironed inside out and put back on the sales floor to start a second life as a “Butler.”

Their natural patina makes them truly unique.

HOW DOES THE BUTLER PROGRAM WORK?

Simply return a broken-in pair of A.P.C. indigo denim jeans. If it is approved to become a Butler, you can trade it for a new pair of A.P.C. raw denim jeans at half-price.

ARE MY A.P.C. JEANS BUTLER MATERIAL?

Not all jeans are qualified to become Butlers. To show their unique character, they must be sufficiently broken-in and washed following specific instructions: dry clean, hand-wash or machine-wash in cold water with Woolite Black and, in all cases, no spin cycle. It is also highly recommended to let them get dirty for as long as possible before their first wash.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THE BUTLER PROGRAM?

Start by visiting the A.P.C. store of your choice. After assessing the condition and patina of your jeans, a sales advisor will tell you if they qualify for the Butler program.

If your jeans are approved, the store team will keep them. In exchange, you can purchase a pair of classic raw indigo denim jeans for half-price.

In Europe, the Butler collection process is only possible in A.P.C. stores.
